トムちん、オプラショーでちゃんと”座って”語ってます。

トムちんが、オプラのトークショーに出演。
スリについて語っています。



As Oprah noted, the 4-year-old is hounded by the tabloids as much as her famous parents are, and it's mostly down to her sartorial expertise.
"She likes to dress herself and wears whatever she wants to wear," Tom said. Even if that means her temporarily controversial "high" heels or seasonal aversion to outerwear.
"She wants to wear it, she wears it…a girl wants to wear what she wants to wear. I'm not gonna tell her different. She's got great taste." Such great taste that she even dresses her daddy.

Well, she may prefer frilly dresses, but it's pretty clear who wears the pants in this family.
As for how the constant daily paparazzi attention may be affecting Suri, Cruise said that he and wife Katie Holmes don't react negatively to the attention, so their daughter, who he describes as a "happy, easy, fun girl," doesn't either.
"She just deals with it. We don't make it a problem. We don't get nervous about it. Katie's a very relaxed person, and you just deal with it."

「彼女は自分でドレスアップするのが大好きなだけ、着たいものを着ているんだよ」
「着たいから着る、小さい女の子ってのはそうじゃないかな。僕はそれにあんまり異論はないんだ。彼女はとっても素晴らしいセンスをしているしね。」
トムちんにも「これを着るといいよ」ってアドバイスすることもあるそうです。

そいで、オプラは、スリは4歳にしてパパラッチにだいぶ愛されてるみたいだけど、大丈夫？と聞いてますが、
トムちんは「僕もケイティもあんまり心配してないから、スリはハッピーで楽しい子だ。彼女はそれに対応してるだけで、問題にしていなし、あんまりナーバスにもなってない。ケイティもとっても”おだやかな”人だからね」

らしいです。和訳が下手ですんません。
でも、ビデオや画像で「明らかにカメラの前に行きたがらない姿」を見ると痛々しいって思うけどね。
それを掲載しといてなんなんですが。。。。。。。。。

ちなみに、トムちんはケイティと婚約したとき、うれしさのあまりオプラのショーではしゃぎまくって、
かなり好感度を下げたことがあったのですが、今回はちゃんと座っていたため、
E!の見出しにはTom Cruise Jumps Sits With Oprah for Suri Summitってかかれてます。クス。

まぁ、これは観客が盛り上げまくってるからってのもあるでしょーね。
